Go Fast Bits

Go Fast Bits (GFB) has designed and manufactured blow off valves and boost control parts in Australia since 1997. Shop GFB DV+ diverter valves, which replace the factory plastic valve on many modern turbo cars, along with venting, recirculating, and adjustable blow off valves and the springs and adapters to set them up. You'll also find GFB electronic boost controllers, external wastegates, and wastegate springs and actuators. DV+ valves and many BOVs are built to replace a specific factory part, while wastegates and controllers are typically universal, so confirm your vehicle or setup before ordering. Some GFB parts carry a CARB EO number; most are for off-road use only.

Who is Go Fast Bits?

Go Fast Bits is an Australian company established in 1997, focused on the parts that manage boost on turbocharged engines. GFB is ISO 9001 certified, and its range is designed, tested, and manufactured in Australia. The company is best known for blow off valves and diverter valves, especially its DV+ direct-replacement valves, and also builds boost controllers and external wastegates.

What GFB parts do we carry?

DV+ diverter valves. Direct replacements for the factory diverter valve on many modern turbocharged cars. Many factory valves use plastic parts and a rubber diaphragm that can leak or tear as boost rises. The DV+ replaces them with a metal valve and a pilot valve mechanism, built to hold boost without leaking. DV+ valves recirculate, so they keep factory-like drivability and sound. Go

Blow off valves. GFB's venting, recirculating, and adjustable valves for owners who want a different sound or more control:

  • Recirculating and venting valves for direct-fit and universal applications.
  • Deceptor Pro II valves, which let you adjust from full venting to full recirculation from inside the car.
  • Hybrid valves, which vent part of the air and recirculate the rest.

Diverter valve, blow off valve, or hybrid?

A diverter valve (like the DV+) recirculates released boost back into the intake ahead of the turbo. It keeps air metering accurate, which matters on engines that use a MAF sensor.

A blow off valve that vents releases boost to the air with an audible sound. On MAF engines, it can cause a rich stumble or stall between shifts, because the ECU already counted that air.

A hybrid or adjustable valve splits the difference, venting some air and recirculating the rest, or letting you choose.

If you want factory-like behavior with better reliability, a DV+ is typically the right choice. If you want sound, choose a venting or adjustable valve that works with your engine management.

How do I choose the right GFB parts?

  • Match the valve to your vehicle. DV+ valves are built to replace a specific factory valve. Confirm your make, model, year, and engine.
  • Decide on sound versus drivability. DV+ valves recirculate. For a vent sound, choose a VTA or adjustable valve, and check whether your engine uses a MAF sensor.
  • Size wastegates to the setup. Larger turbos, higher power, and low boost targets need more wastegate flow to prevent boost creep.
  • Choose springs below your target boost. The wastegate spring sets base boost. A boost controller raises it from there.
  • Plan for tuning. A direct-replacement DV+ typically needs no tune. Boost controllers, wastegate changes, and higher boost commonly require one.

Installation notes

  • Install DV+ valves in the factory location using the supplied hardware and any required adapter.
  • Check vacuum and electrical connections. Many factory diverter valves are electronically controlled, so reconnect the plug and confirm no fault codes appear.
  • Mount BOVs close to the throttle body and route vacuum lines away from heat.
  • Set up boost controllers carefully, following GFB's instructions, and verify boost with a gauge.
  • Pressure-test the charge system after installing a valve, and check for leaks.

Common problems GFB parts address

Leaking or torn factory diverter valves, which cause low boost and inconsistent power at higher boost levels.

Slow boost recovery between shifts, which GFB's TMS-equipped valves are designed to improve.

Compressor surge or flutter when the throttle closes.

Boost creep on high-flow builds, which an external wastegate can control.

Frequently Asked Questions

GFB questions usually come down to which valve type to choose, fitment, and whether a tune is needed. The answers below cover the DV+, venting versus recirculating, the Deceptor Pro II, wastegate springs, and legality. Confirm fitment for your exact vehicle on each product page, and contact our team for help.

Where is Go Fast Bits from?

Australia. GFB was established in 1997 and designs, tests, and manufactures its range there.

What is the GFB DV+?

A direct-replacement diverter valve that swaps the factory plastic valve for a metal valve with a pilot mechanism, built to stop boost leaks.

Does the DV+ make a blow off sound?

No. The DV+ recirculates. For a vent sound, choose a GFB VTA or adjustable valve.

What is the GFB Deceptor Pro II?

An adjustable valve that lets you choose between full venting and full recirculation from inside the car.

Do I need a tune for a GFB DV+?

Typically not. It replaces the factory valve and works with the factory calibration.

What wastegate spring should I choose?

A spring below your target boost. Use a boost controller to raise boost from there.
